This is done by uniting the devoted women in these fields and providing them a number of services and resources.

The other objective of the Center is to facilitate the access of American users to scientific, technological, legal, business, and other types of information in Russia and the CIS. Their overall mission is to "the advancement of scientific and technological excellence across all disciplines, and to the public's understanding of science and technology. It is the central organizational point for the groups that are responsible for Internet Infrastructure standards. Professional membership of this society is comprised of 6,000 individual members and 100 organizational members from over 100 countries which are brought together by the common goal of "maintaining the viability and global scaling of the Internet".

Founded in 1887 as a one-room laboratory, NIH is one of the world's leading biomedical research centers. As the Federal focal point for biomedical research in the U.S., they accomplish their goals by conducting research in their own labs, supporting research of non-Federal scientists in other research and learning institutions in the U.S. and internationally, the training of research professionals and, by fostering communication of biomedical information.

This independent government agency of the United States was established in 1950 to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; and to secure the national defense. It is a major provider of basic research funding in the USA with programs that may involve Russia and other countries of the fSU.

This organization of scholarly men and women was founded over 120 years ago and, with its interesting history, is the oldest Ukrainian academy of arts and sciences. They maintain offices worldwide with the U.S. headquarters in New York City. While its main focus is scholarship and education, they perform a variety of other interesting functions.
