  • Bucknell University Russian Studies Department *

    A major in Russian Studies is offered in addition two minors: one in the Russian language and one in Russian Studies. This site also provides an extensive amount of great information and resources.

  • CREES at Stanford University *

    The Center for Russian and East European Studies website provides information on their many different programs and libraries (including The Hoover Institution). It is one of the 15 National Resource Centers appointed by U.S. Department of Education.

  • Carleton College Russian Department *

    Located in Northfield, Minnesota, this college provides a variety of courses available plus information on their Russian Club and House and other valuable resources.

  • Hokkaido University Slavic Research Center *

    Financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture in Japan and as the country's only research institute for the study of the Slavic countries, this center is divided into the three areas of research, information and administration. Their site has a large amount of interesting information, including papers from conferences in symposiums, and is available in Japanese, English and some Russian.

  • Indiana University Institute for the Study of Russian Education *

    Established in 1989 in response to the rapid changes occurring in education in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, it was formerly known as the Institute for the Study of Soviet Education, or ISSE. Among their many activities is the collection and dissemination of information about education in Russia and the NIS.

  • Indiana University Russian and East European Institute *

    Established in 1958 on IU's Bloomington campus, REEI coordinates one of the U.S.'s top programs in Russian and East European Area studies.

  • NUPI Centre for Russian Studies Database *

    This database from the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs contains information on all 89 regions of Russia, political parties or groups, elections, institutions, ethnic groups, 1000 influential people, and important dates relative to the areas listed above The site is in English and Norweigan.

  • Russian Studies On The Web (R_L LIST) *

    This page links to many homepages of Russian/Slavic educational departments around the World and to larger academic institutions containing information on this subject.

  • Russian and East European Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign *

    Founded in 1959, this center offers undergraduate major and minor degree programs as well as a MA program. In addition, they provide resources for teachers of K-12 and higher education, the business community and to the general public.

  • Russian at UTEP *

    The Russian Language Program at the University of Texas, El Paso is described along with information. In addition, there are some beautiful photographs of Moscow.

  • Russian at Vanderbilt *

    This undergraduate program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee provides students to study all aspects of Russian culture and language plus the opportunity to spend a semester or a summer in Russia.

  • The Elliott School of International Affairs *

    As George Washington University's professional school of international affairs in Washington, DC, exceptional men and women are educated "in theory and practice of international affairs". It maintains institute and research centers, including the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IERES).

  • The Russian Web at Marist *

    This college is located in Marist Country, in the Hudson Valley region of New York, USA and in addition to information on their program, they offer resources for several educational publications and The "Business Russian" Certificate Program which is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

  • University of North Carolina, Greensboro's Department of German, Russian and Japanese Studies *

    This site contains information on the studies offered at UNCG along with great links to these three areas of study.

  • University of Oregon Department of Russian *

    Located in Eugene, this department is also involved in in the undergraduate and postgraduate area of Russian studies and in several areas of research.
