The important part of RCNP is the participation in the life of city, regional organizations, citizens and this participation should lead to positive changes. We would like to hear one or more such human-interest stories. Please tell the story about people who have benefited from the project.

Three years ago, a site concerning Tatarstan was developed. Its pages are devoted to the history and cultural life of the Tatarstan Republic.

Russian Civil Network has taken the liberty of including this site in its database, and it is referenced.

An American linguist, educator and poet, William J. Nolan, having read this site referred to other sites concerning Tatarstan. He became deeply interested in discovering, just where in the Russia Federation, the Tatar people were concentrated. He was fascinated with the unusual buildings, which incorporate both Western and Eastern cultures, and with its people, mingling Eastern and European traditions, which imposes a unique print of heritage on the character, appearance and mannerisms of some the earths people.

A correspondence was initiated. Mister Nolan was invited to Kazan. He liked our city and its people so much during his first visit, that he returned for a second visit., promising in his third visit to stay and teach in one of Kazans universities. Undoubtedly, it will be benefit our students,; by expanding a knowledge of the English language. This American teacher considers the Russian and Tatar people as the nations greatest natural resource and treasure.
