A holiday that everybody celebrates on 14 February is well known all over the world as Valentine Day. Usually gentlemen give flowers and small gifts to ladies.

And the forth workshop day began with flowers and souvenirs. All women that work in RCNP program got roses and elegant gift - sonnet of Shakespeare, designed by Public Access office designer Kim.

Tanya Stepanova is the RCNP project coordinator.


Workshop participants thank Greg Cole, American Direcor of RCNP.

A final report was made by "Friends and Partners" Foundation Directors Natasha Bulashova and Greg Cole. They told about future integration of CIVNet program to "Nauka-Grid" program. Workshop participants discussed an opportunity to integrate local RCNP networks to united program by name "CIV-Grid".

The main subjects of further discussions were: the past, the present and the future of RCNP program.

Natasha Bulashova unformatted workshop participants about future conference that will be conducted jointly by RELARN Association and "Friends and Partners" Foundation. Planning topics are:

1. The development of information structure for science, education and social society.
2. Organizational building of Internet for science and education.
3. High-performed computer systems and technologies.
4. Education resources in Russian section of Internet.
5. Problems and prospects in teachers education .
6. Conceptions and real models of RCNP development

We propose to hear presentations and discussions of specialists and organizations that take an active part in Internet development in Russia.

During last workshop evening the participants had the opportunity to evaluate workshop results, the significance of this workshop for further activity; to plan next steps in project development.

The last day of visit was devoted to trip across Washington. Workshop participants visited various museums and memorials.
