Organizational activities

  • Project officers provided technical help and regular consultations to the project participants and organizations, connected to the Civnet, on networking administration and equipment maintenance.
  • Project officers performed technical servicing and administration of the Main Public Access Point and maintained the entire complex of services based on it, including the sub-project "Web - workshop", full-time advisory service, and Internet � class with ten workstations connected to the Internet.
  • The Civnet coordinators continued to work with the editorial officers of Voronezh State TV and Radio Company. In October, Civnet coordinators have prepared radio program describing VCN project activities.

Formation the server �Voronezh Civic Network� In October, we continued to collect and process the data to fill up the server �Voronezh Civic Network� (vcn.vorstu.ac.ru).

The old pages were also maintained and updated. The page �North-Don Cossack Union� was complemented.
 

Central Public Access Facility�s Work
    • This month, as well as during all previous months, the full range of our services within the framework of the project has been provided to our visitors free of charge. A consulting service and web workshop continued to function.
    • On the basis of the Main PAP Facility, we started new cycle of classes according to the following schedule:
Monday: 9.00 -12.00 - 5 trainees
15.00-17.00 - 4 trainees
18.00-21.00 � 5 trainees
Tuesday: 8.00 � 11.15 �16 trainees
15.00 �17.00 - 5 trainees
17.00 �20.00 - 5 trainees
Wednesday: 8.00-11.15 � 16 trainees
17.00-20.00 - 5 trainees
Thursday: 9.00-12.00 � 5 trainees
15.00 �16.30 � 5 trainees
17.00 �20.00 � 5 trainees
Friday: 10.00 -11.30 � 5 trainees
15.00 �16.30 � 5 trainees
17.00- 20.00 � 5 trainees
Saturday: 11.00-17.00 (4 groups each consisting of 5-6 persons, total �20 trainees)
17.00 � 20.00 � 5 trainees
Sunday: 10.00 �14.30 (3 groups each consisting of 5 persons, total � 15 trainees)
