Organizational activities

The Civnet coordinators continued to work with the editorial
officers of Voronezh State TV and Radio Company. In September, Civnet coordinators
have prepared radio program with Natasha Bulashova - director of "Friends
and Partners" and Tanya Stepanova - coordinator of RCNP project.

Project officers provided technical help and regular consultations
to the project participants and organizations, connected to the Civnet,
on networking administration and equipment maintenance.

Project officers performed technical servicing and administration
of the Main Public Access Point and maintained the entire complex of services
based on it, including the sub-project "Web - workshop", full-time advisory
service, and Internet � class with ten workstations connected to the Internet.

Formation the server "Voronezh Civic Network"
In September, we continued to collect and process the
data to fill up the server "Voronezh Civic Network" (vcn.vorstu.ac.ru).
We designed and published new web site "Travel on Literary
Voronezh " http://vcn.vorstu.ac.ru/win/home/literat/index.htm.
The old pages were also maintained and updated. Such sections
as �Regional News�, � Project Log", "Bulletin Board" have been regularly
updated. The pages �North-Don Cossack Union� and �Voronezh Preserve� were
also maintained.
Central Public Access Facility�s Work

This month, as well as during all previous months, the full
range of our services within the framework of the project has been provided
to our visitors free of charge. A consulting service and web workshop continued
to function.

On the basis of the Main PAP Facility, we started new cycle
of classes for the school students of 7-11 grades. Subjects of classes
are "Fundamentals of vectoral graphics"(Corel Draw), "Fundamentals of image
graphics"(Adobe Photoshop), "Fundamentals of HTML" (36 trainees).
