"NetTalk"
"NetTalk," a two-page insert in "Civil Society ... East and West," is a bi-monthly guide to useful resources on the Internet related to the NIS. It includes reviews of electronic mailing lists, important Internet sites and files, information in e-mail access in the NIS, and tips and how-to's for using the Internet. "Civil Society: USA" 1996 Edition

Internet Resources for Eurasia
Internet Resources for Eurasia Originally titled Internet Resources for the NIS, this fourth edition by Richard Upjohn is thoroughly revised and up-to-date. Its 86 pages describe Web sites and e-mail lists in more than 15 categories�e .g., Business, Environment, Funding, Law and Human Rights, Media, Public Administration, Women�as well as those which are region- or country-specific, e.g., Ukraine, Russia, Central Asia, etc. A set of appendixes offer help with such issues as using Cyrillic fonts on the Internet or using search engines most effectively. CivilSoc
CivilSoc is an electronic mailing list, maintained by CCSI, which serves as a bulletin board and discussion forum for organizations engaged with civil society institution-building projects in the NIS. Available free of charge to anyone with access to e-mail, CivilSoc includes announcements of new resources, conferences, and grant programs, plus profiles of NIS organizations and U.S. projects in the region. CivilSoc covers a wide variety of topics on the NIS as it often cross posts relevant information from the dozens of NIS listservs to which CCSI subscribes.
