Galina is committed to the advancement and recognition of nursing and nurses. She advocates for a course of study for nurse managers.
loading.....please wait We visited a Moscow Medical School where nurses are trained. In Russia, nurses carry out doctor's orders with little participation in complex assessment or diagnosis. Unlike American nurses, they are supervised by doctors, taught by doctors, and paid almost the same as doctors.
St. Basil's Cathedral in Red Square, Moscow, always takes your breath away because of it's beauty. Here, the group gathers for a photo before hearing the history of this beautiful monument. According to history, Ivan the Terrible had it built, and then blinded the architects so they could not build anything so beautiful again. loading....please wait
loading, please wait The train ride from Moscow to Novgorod takes about 10 hours and leaves Moscow at 9:00 PM. After gathering together in 1 cabin for a few toasts, we split up into cabins with 4 bunks for a comfortable overnight ride. The conductor of the car supplies a great cup of hot tea before the train arrives at the Novgorod train station.
