    A full range of Internet services are provided including dialup IP, UUCP, email,WWW, and ftp. 2Com Company combines the Internet and X.25 networks. This site is in Russian only.

  • ASU OAO "Electrosvyaz" of Vladimir City *

    This service provider's site provides information about communication services in the City of Vladimir and the surrounding area. This data includes information about phones, leased lines, digital channels, Internet and other services. It is in Russian only.

  • AccessNet (Techno Center Plus) *

    Techno Center Plus offers wide range of services including different levels of offline and online Internet access with email, Web and Internet software consulting and training, commercial services, inexpensive restricted accounts, web hosting and development plus much more. An additional server is available at http://www.accessnet.ru/. This site is in Russian and English.

  • AiPi-Com *

    AiPi-Com provides Internet service with a substantial discounted rate during the night hours. Dial-up IP and a full range of Internet services are provided. It is in Russian only.

  • CENTRONET *

    This Moscow ISP's site is mostly in Russian only although some pages are in English.

  • CISA+ Ltd. *

    CISA Ltd. provides Internet connectivity in addition to training, consultation, hosting and other services required through dail-up and leased line connections. This site does not give much information about the details of their services but their contact information is at http://www.tomsk.su/e/cisa~1.htm.

  • CTINet (Computer Technologies Institute) *

    This site is in Russian but an English version is being constructed at http://www.ctinet.ru/eng/ .

  • Cityline *

    Cityline provides Internet access, daily news and weekly coverage of the Web, support in Russian and English and other benefits for their subscribers. Although this site is dual language, many pages are not yet available in English.

  • CompNet *

    CompNet offers communications and full Internet access services which include dialup-IP, email, leased line and Web development. This site is in English and Russian.

  • Complex Computer Systems Ltd. ("CoCoS" Ltd.) *

    This company provides Internet services to those in Omsk. Although there is an English index, most of the site is in Russian.

  • Convey *

    Convey's services include Internet access, system integration, Intranet solutions, award winning Web design and publishing. They also host free home pages up to 1 MB and have added shell accounts to their services. With the understanding that it is difficult for many to afford access, they have offered big bonuses for students, scholars, scientists and FIDO members. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Corbina *

    Corbina is a full service telecommunications company in Moscow. Their services include Inernet access, computer telephony, voice, data, calling cards, design, installation and maintenance of telecommunication systems. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Data Express On-Line *

    This site is in Russian.

  • DataForce ISP *

    DataForce ISP . This site is mostly in Russian although it has one page in English at this time.

  • DataX/FLORIN, Inc. *

    Access to the Internet is provided by iskra, dialup and leased line access by this ISP. WWW hosting, development, installation, customizing and maintainance of Internet sites is also provided. If desired, a two-day one-on-one training course is offered for those information providers that wish to develop their own web pages. They are also a System Integrator and Software company. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Demos Company *

    Demos was the first private Soviet company that entered the world of foreign networks, and was the founder of the Relcom network. Relcom is the first and largest ex-USSR network which is now known as the "Russian Internet." Internet Services include leased line IP connectivity, SLIP/PPP accounts, email, email gateway to RADIOPAGE pagers in Moscow, LAN Solutions and and wide range of online information resources. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Edisoft *

    This company provides Internet services to those in Khabarovsk. This site is in Russian.

  • Ekaterinburg Telegraph *

    Founded in 1861, this is one of the oldest communications companies in the Ural Region. Current technologies include various information and telecommunication services for businesses, organizations and personal use including Internet access through a variety of means and for different prices. This well organized, established company has setups and services for every purpose imaginable

  • Elvis-Telecom Company *

    Since 1996 Elvis-Telecom has promoted Internet technologies on the Russian market. They offer users a wide range of services including teleconferences, e-mail, access to information systems on the WWW, WAIS, IRC, FTP and TELNET. Many different levels of creation and maintenance of sites is also offered along with support, the sale of equipment, other telecommunications services. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Euro InterSoft *

    Euro InterSoft is an ISP in the Moscow area that also is a software developer. They provide email, UUCP, Dialup IP, PPP and Web advertising. They have an additional dual-language site whose English section still appears to be in the development stage. (http://www.inter-soft.ru/). "Both" sites are in Russian and English.

  • ExtraNet *

    Located in Moscow, this ISP has direct digital connections from more than 180 cities in Russia and the CIS. In addition to Internet services, Web development is also offered. This site is in Russian only.

  • FreeNet *

    The Network For Research, Education and Engineering is a nonprofit organization and service provider that assists and fulfills the networking needs of the research institutes of Russian Academy of Sciences, universities, colleges, and other research and academic institutions of Russia. The FREEnet provides, among other benefits, full IP connectivity (inside and outside the country), DNS services, mail relaying and IP Registry service and assorted information services. There are more than a dozen regional branches that operate independently but are cooperating as peers in accordance with FREEnet Charter principles. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Garant-Park *

    GARANT-PARK provides the full range of Internet services - including email, fax, ftp by mail, news, Web development, creation of corporative networks and complex Internet solutions. This site is in Russian and English.

  • GlasNet *

    One of the largest ISPs in Russia, GlasNet is a computer network established in 1990 and a member of the Association for Progressive Communications (APC). GlasNet provides a full spectrum of Internet services, some of which includes email, fax, newsgroups, text and graphic access to the WWW and Web publishing and hosting. GlasNet has various modes of access including local dialup in over 50 cities. Their site "GlasWeb" also is full of wonderful information from and about Russia. This site is in Russian and Enlish.

  • Global One Russia *

    Global One was founded in 1996 with the partnership of Sprint (USA), Deutsche Telekom (Germany) and France Telecom (France). In addition to a multitude of other telecommunications services, they also provide Internet access in over 200 cities of the former USSR with Russia regional offices in Vladivostok, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St.Petersburg and Khabarovsk. The Russian version of their site is at http://www.global-one.ru/

  • Global One Russia, CIS and Baltic States *

    In early 1996, Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, and Sprint joined together to form Global One that now has offices in over 50 countries worldwide. In addition to a full range of advanced telecommunications services, Global One Russia provides access to the Internet with email. This site is in Russian and English.

  • GoldNet Information Systems (Netstate Communications, Ltd.) *

    Among the full range of Internet services offered are high speed connections, dialup connection, email, Web publishing, hosting and design, network design and server installation. If needed by corporate or private users, technical consultation and Internet training is offered. This site is in Russian and English.

  • INFORIS *

    This company provides Internet services to those in Nizhniy Novgorod. This site is in Russian and English (index only).

  • INFOTEL Ltd. *

    Created in 1992, this full service Internet provider has representation in many cities across Russia.

  • INTERCOM Company, Saratov *

    This ISP serves the Saratov region. This site is in Russian Only.

  • InComA Company, Ltd. *

    InComA Ltd. technologies provide Internet access via a FastNet leased line and are able to offer the wide range of Internet services including their own Proxy and NNTP servers. On the technical side, they provide TCP/IP network connections, ISDN, X.25, ATM, Frame Relay, CCITT/ITU recommendations, FDDI equipment, and RFCs On-Line. InComA is involved in bank networking, are systems integrator and distributors of telecommunication hardware. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Informsvyaz-Chernozemye *

    Company "Informsvyaz-Chernozemye" offers the information about Voronezh and Voronezh region enterprises economic indexes. This site is mostly in Russian with limited English information.

  • Institute of New Information Technologies *

    This ISP Internet access to individuals and businesses Taganrog in the Rostov Region south of Moscow. In addition, WWW design, hosting, and Internet promotion services are offered. This site is in Russian only.

  • JSC Relcom (Relcom Company, Moscow) *

    JSC Relcom directs the activity of the EUnet/Relcom network. (EUnet is one of the largest Internet providers in Europe.) JSC Relcom offers several different levels of Internet services including email, WWW access, NNTP access to USENET and RELCOM News, personal home pages, Web publishing, development and hosting. This site is in Russian and English.

  • KIS *

    KIS provides the Nizhny Novgorod with Internet access in the on and off-line mode via email or an IP connection. A wide range of setups and prices are available depending on personal or business needs including web site design and hosting. This well organized site gives all the information needed to obtain access. KIS also has paging and Sprint Net services for businesses.

  • LEK Telecom *

    LEK provides Internet access. Also, Russian legislation, currencies, stock exchange trades & other commerce information are provided with daily updates. This site is in Russian only.

  • MMTEL *

    MMT production is telephone and other telecommunication services provided to those in Moscow. They also provide transit connections for other regions of Russia and states of the Commonwealth. Their WWW site is currently under construction. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Mr. Postman *

    With Mr. Postman, there is not a registration fee and you can choose from dialup or permanent connections for access to email and the WWW. Their fees vary, depending on the time of day and Web development and hosting are also offered. Although the pages are mixed in Russian and English, the English index can be found at http://www.aha.ru/eng.htm

  • Nakhodka Internet *

    This Internet Service provider serves Nakhodka in the Russian Far East. This site is in Russian and contains little information.

  • NetClub Moscow *

    This ISP provides SLIP/PPP, email, Web development and hosting, and online/offline access. Their site is currently in Russian but an English version is expected soon.

  • Novocherkassk ON-LINE *

    This ISP serves the southern region of Russia. This site is in Russian.

  • OKB MEI *

    This ISP serves Russia and the ex-USSR commercial & non commercial community: This site is in Russian and English.

  • Online Resource Center *

    Founded in 1996, ORC provides access to the Internet network resources. Included in its many services are email, news services, WWW access through dial-up or a permanent leased line, Web hosting and support, publishing, design and translation services. This site is in Russian and English.

  • PTT-Teleport Moscow *

    This ISP provides email and Internet access. This site is in Russian.

  • REDLINE *

    The "Russian EDucational LINE" Network site is in the Russian language only.

  • ROSNET *

    ROSNET provides access to the Internet in the online mode. Included in the services offered are Web access, telnet, FTP, news, email, IRC and talk. Other services included are integrated data transmission services, fax, telex, telegraph. This site is in Russian and English.

  • RUNNet *

    RUNNet is the Russian Federal University Network whose goal is to create a common information area of Russian science and education and its membership of information community worldwisde. It provides Internet access to universities, research, academic and other institutions of this sort or to those who are of interest to the Russian scientific and educational community. RUNNet provides its customers with a wide range of services including email, telnet, FTP, UseNet newsgroups, database access (Gopher, WWW, WAIS, etc.) The also provide their own information services. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Rinet Web Server *

    This site is in Russian

  • RopNet Corp. *

    The RopNet Corporation site is in the Russian andthe English site is under reconstruction.

  • Russia-On-Line *

    Russia-On-Line provides several different levels of access to the Internet all of which include e-mail, Internet access and software and a variety of online publications. Dial up access is available in many cities in Russia and registration can be performed online with a free trial basis. WWW publishing services are also offered. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Russia-On-Line *

    The Russia-On-Line server provides enhanced remote acess and dialup internet connection services. It also provides a huge searchable catalog of subjects including entertainment, business, government, and weather reports. In addition, ROL provides a gallery of hosted pages.

  • SITEK *

    This site is in Russian and the English version is currently unavailable (http://www.sitek.ru/eng).

  • SOVAM Teleport *

    Sovam Teleport, the first Frame Relay network operator in Russia in 1990, originally served the Moscow area. It now provides thousands of customers in Russia and the NIS high speed, low cost data communications services. Included in these services are Russia On-Line (http://www.online.ru/), SovamMail, SovamNet, SovamROUTE, SovamBankNET. This site is in Russian and English.

  • Samara Internet Ltd. *

  • Spacenet *

    A Relcom network access node, Internet/SPACENET provides several different levels of access to the Internet including dial-up and leased line access, email, Web access, and InternetPhone . Also available are web hosting, design, and site development. This site is in Russian.

  • Stack Ltd. *

    StackNet is a service provider for the southern part of Moscow Region and was established by "Stack Ltd." in the early 90s to connect the local towns of Serpukhov, Pushchino, Protvino and Obolensk. Clients are given full access to dial-up IP/UUCP services which include email, Internet access, ftp (and their own large archive) and newsgroups. This site is in Russian and English.
