The main mission of this center is to respondto inquiries on the meteorology andclimatology of Alaska from public, privateand government agencies, and fromresearchers around the world. The centerissues monthly summaries and weatherreviews which are published in severalnewspapers around the state and long-termclimatological records. The Research Centeralso conducts research on a number ofmeteorological & climatological topics at highlatitudes. This service is provided free ofcharge, provided the request is for smallamounts of data.
