As a part of our work with F&P, we receive quite a few inquiries from those who are researching their roots in Russia/NIS. The "Russian Legal Server" was developed in the early days of F&P by two friends, Ilya Nikiforov and Mark Sanor - one from Russia and one from the U.S. - "in order to promote mutual understanding and to facilitate international business". Ilya also maintains the FP Legal email listserver.
