Sergiev Posad Civic Networking
June, 2000
During June Foundation for Social Programs done the following work:
1. in order to enlarge the number of users we signed the agreement with
profit organization "Novye Ryady" about the creation Internet-cafe in Sergiev
Posad. Also we are searching funds for purchasing of 5 computers.
2. Working with our Internet provider we joined our efforts towards
further development of region network. In aims to connect more users we
have elaborated a project concerned laying of cable in central part of
the city. Now our city sites one can see here:

3. Goncharov,City Mayor and Khohlov,Deputy Mayor gave an idea to create
a Creative Union of Sergiev Posad region. They organized a meeting with
the most famous cultural workers, businessmen, Mass Media representatives.
More than 100 people visited this meeting.
On 7 October, 2000 we plan to hold the conference (about 200 people)devoted
to this problem.
