Obninsk Civic Network

1. On March 12 the OCN project among a number of other
projects realized in Obninsk was presented to representatives of Pittsburgh
University and the Institute for Urban Economics (Moscow). These two organizations
are participants of a joint American-Russian project devoted to analyses
of the efficiency of projects� implementation (supported by the Eurasia
Foundation, Washington, D.C.). Obninsk was selected as one of sites for
this project.

2. On March 14 an on-line Internet conference of Gennady
Artemyev � a candidate for the city Mayor - took place in Obninsk. About
40 individuals participated in the conference that lasted for 2 hours.

3. On March an on-line Internet conference of
Sergey Zabedansky � a candidate for the City Council - took place in Obninsk.
As during the previous conference the participants ask many questions.
