1. The first stage of the competition �Computer � 01� took place in Obninsk Computer Club on January 6 � 7. Students from 6 to 11 grades participated in this competition.
There were 2 age categories: up to 9 grade and 10-11 grades. The competition results for the first category one can see at http://civnet.okclub.org/result9.htm; for the second � at http://civnet.okclub.org/result10.htm.

    The total number of participants is 55 persons. Sixteen of them presented their own works some of which were implemented on a level close to professional one. All the participants got diplomas, honorary lists, and certificates. Winners got prizes from sponsors and founders of the competition.
2. The first meeting of the Coordination Council of the city civic movement �Computer to School took place in OK_Club on January 18.
    Among the participants there were the Council members (coordinators):

    • Nikolai Shestoperov Obninsk Council of Non-Profits Obninsk Civic Network
    The Council considered a number of practical issues including an initiative of the Invesko-Bank to support the civic movement, a decision to connect the Educational Dept. of Obninsk City Administration to Internet using resources of OK_Club (in the framework of the OCN project) and the �Ungvar� company. Nikolai Shestoperov became a coordinator of the civic movement.
