11. Charitable Foundation "Messia" (D.Maryashova)
12. Public Charitable Foundation "Kovcheg" (.Borisova)

In March the following users were connected through KAI to the Internet:

  • Public youth organization "Management of the Future" (Ye.Dityakina)
  • Public Charitable Foundation "Kovcheg" (.Borisova)
  • Charitable Foundation "Messia" (D.Maryashova)
  • Club of Acquaintances "Silver rain" (V.Mikhailov)

In our opinion these are the most active and creative organizations. "Management of the Future" - is the young organization, initiators of its creation were the students of Kazan high schools. They worked as independent observers during government elections, they participated in development of the state program "Youth of Tatarstan".
Mother Maria heads the Public Charitable Foundation "Kovcheg", she is the chief of a department of Kazan eparchy. She has organized a club of the scouts. The organization regularly organizes various competitions for children, tourist trips and camp. The main task of organization is the moral, spiritual and cultural education of youth as an opposition to drugs and spiritual decay. "Kovcheg" is going to tell about their activity on the pages of our server.

It became possible to establish contacts with new organizations due to a workshop " The Participation of NGO in Legislative Processes", which was held in the period March, 4 - April, 30. This workshop was devoted to the problems of interaction between NGO and authority. It had an educational character. The participants of the workshop have got acquainted with the legal requirements in the process of bill introduction, with conditions of initiation and lobbying of various laws and bills. The seminar was organized by the CHARITIES AID FOUNDATION.

During mentioned workshop its participants got acquainted with the project " Kazan Civic Networking ", the most part of the participants expressed the desire to be involved to this project. Unfortunately, only some of the organizations (listed above) have the real opportunity to take part in the project. The majority of Kazan's NGO have no real material opportunities to purchase computer technique. We suggested to use a service of free access to Internet. Such services were opened in KAI and in Committee for Protection of Human Rights in Tatarstan. Hitherto there were no such centers in Kazan city. Also we have invited everyone to educational seminars, devoted to using of Internet. The information about the project was sent to news agency "Tatar-inform". The response was received from the author of a site "News of Kazan" Glen Kazakov. Now we are negotiating for cooperation.

In March the visitors of our organization were: Danuta Przywara, the secretary of Polish Helsinki Foundation Administration and Jerzy Swaton, lawyer of this organization. They have noted the importance of this project, its benefit for NGO. They have told about winter and summer human rights schools in Warsaw. Now information about these schools, requirements for participation, terms we shall publish at our server.
