During the period January 1 - February 29, 2000 :
1. The contacts with 8 public organizations and interested institutions
were established. There were held the working meetings with the leaders
of the following organizations which already have begun to give the information:

Faculty of constitutional and international law of the Kazan State University
(R. Valeev)
Negotiation with the Union of the Journalists of Tatarstan Republic
(R. Ratnikova), organization "Women of Tatarstan" (Z. Valeeva), commission
for the legislation, legality, rules of State Council of Republic of Tatarstan.
2. Data about NGO of Republic of Tatarstan registered by the Ministry
of Justice of Republic of Tatarstan in 1996, 1997, 1998 were systemized.
Now the information related to 1999 and 2000 is going to be systemized.
3. We are glad to inform you that the domain of 3-rd level http://cnk.kai.ru
was registered and we hope to get any information by electronic mail [email protected]
4. On an existing modem pool the addresses for connection of organizations
under the project were allocated.
5. The following users were connected:

Committee for Protection of the Human Rights of Republic of Tatarstan;

Faculty of engineering psychology and pedagogics of Kazan State Technical
University;
-
TARI (Tatar-American Regional Institute).
6. The structure of bases of the Web-server under MySQL was in details
developed, we began to write the programs aimed to account the visitors,
online program of cooperating organizations news line formation,
the visual design of the Web-server was developed
7. The Web-server was launched.
