Meetings and communications pertaining to output :

  • A number of meetings of the Council of Directors were held for the purpose of determining further perspectives on the development of the "Kazan Civil Networking" project.
  • The meeting with Mr. Declan Murphy concerning the forthcoming conference, "Civil and Public Initiatives in Russia" was held.
Activities in Kazan or other locations pertaining to output
    the support of day-night activity of servers �Kazan Civic Networking� is conducted:
  • On January 49 Gb of information were accepted and transferred to the participants of the project by means of the �Kazan Civic Networking" mail service.
  • There is a free access site for three new users to participate in the work of the Interaction Communication System.
  • The work of providing this site with information is continuing. Seventeen new articles have been published.
  • Fifty-seven hours of internet service were granted to dialup users.
  • The work of providing participants with technical assistance is afforded and continuing as in previous months.
  • Internet centers operate within the parameters of the established operational mode.
Humanitarian maintenance group accomplishments:
  • Work on the development of the "2001 Year Project" is in progress.
  • The announcement of the project appeared in the running line of advertisements on local TV.
  • The material concerning the "Kazan Civil Networking" site was published in the "News of the Tatarstan Republic," both in English and in Tatar.
  • Training activities and number of individuals trained:
    • The Christmas and New Year competitions, and all children's holiday performances took place in the Kazan Department of All-Russian Young Scouts Society jointly with OBF "Covcheg" (ARK)
    • Lessons with children are continuing in the Public Center of Social Admission in the room of the Sophia Church; there were four lessons given in January.
