CHELYABINSK CIVIC NETWORK

1. Indices of work of the Center for public access to
Internet:
-
1217 persons were recorded and had accounts and mail boxes
by the end of March;
-
there were 3713 visits for these three months;
-
all workstations of the center have been upgraded by new
memory chips, partly by graphic cards, keyboards and mice.
2. In the center there were held the following workshops
and courses:
-
Acquaintance with Internet (36 hours, 18 people)
-
Characteristics of search Russian-language engines and their
comparison (16 people)
-
Four meetings were carried out for students of high schools,
which are university entrants. The students had opportunity to find out
rules and programs of entrance examinations with all-Russia information
system "Abiturient". They took psychological tests on its site in Chelyabinsk
(http://www.urc.ac.ru/abiturient)
where data about local universities were concentrated.
3. The mailing list CCN ( [email protected]
) continues to serve for sharing useful information between NGO. So, approximately
30 messages and announcements were sent through this list.
