Duplicate Asian and African Languages' Literature Data-base Creation in the Oriental Literature Center of RSL

Some problems of international book exchange in the Center of Oriental Literature of the Russian State Library are discussed in the paper.

The COL is now the most prospective source of funds creation (taking into consideration the absence of the state financial aid). In order to broaden contacts with foreign and Russian libraries we intend to create the database of duplicated editions of COL RSL, entering Internet web and use the applications of the libraries in order to exchange editions. In the beginning such database will be supplemented by the inputs showing the fund of duplicated editions being created at the present time in COL.
