Social and Cultural Topography of the Katmandu Valley
Nepalese realities mapping attempts are undertaken: from physical to historical, ethnical and cultural geography of Nepal, and specifically - the Katmandu Valley.
"Sociocultural Topography of an Object" supposes two approaches (levels and stages): static and dynamic.
Static approach should include both real and "functional" objects tied to the map, i.e. all types of connections between the real objects.
Dynamical approach means taking into consideration seasons changes, calendar, including agricultural one, followed by the historical changes of both the realities and all types of links.
Based on the combination of these approaches we could stratify cultural objects and functions. As a result one can get either the usual projection map, or a stereo picture. The final aim is to gain the possibility to change the video images line by all or every parameter.
