Statistics Materials Being the Main Source of Modern Ethnic
and Demographic Processes Research

Research of the ethnic and demographic processes in Tuva Republic is very important and up-to-date nowadays, when resulting from the social and economic crisis we can watch essential changes in the republic's demographic situation. Statistics Materials, Being the Main Source of Modern Ethnic and Demographic Processes Research.

Investigating this problem empirical materials of the State Statistic Committee of the Tuva Republic mainly empirical materials of the State Committee for statistic, Central State Republican Archive and various organizations and offices current archives were used.

The results of the all-union population lists are the most representative in order to characterize the main tendencies of the ethnic and demographic tendencies. Materials gained during the investigation are systemized according to the topic, chronology and form the Data-Bank.
