NASA/Canadian four-stage sounding rocket could reach altitudes of 850 km

  In a United States-Canadian cooperative project, NASA launched the first four-stage Javelin sounding rocket from Wallops Station to an altitude of 560 miles to measure the intensity of galactic radio noise.
