Database is analogious to Lexis/Nexis Library. DataBases cannot be combined. Point the database and press Enter or double click the mouse left button.

This option enables you to sort documents by the date they were
issued.
Sort by title
This option enables you to sort documents by their titles in alphabetical
order.
Sort by number
This option enables you to sort documents in order by their official
numbers.
Sort by type of document
This option enables you to sort documents by their type. You may select exact type from built-in list of types.
Issued by.. (Author)
This option enables you to sort documents by the issuing authority. You may select exact authority from built-in list.
Last changes date
This option enables you to sort documents by date of change in
the DataBase.
Published in (Where published)
This option enables you to sort documents by the names of the publications where they appeared. You may select for exact type of publisher from built-in list.

You can search documents using a group of different criterias conditions or a single creteria. If you use several different criteria listed in the serarch options:
The results of the search request will be the documents that satisfy
all and every one of the conditions (they are combined
using the logical
AND opearation).
The order of operations is:
deleting one or all of conditions from the right hand side by pressing the "Delete" dialog box or the hot key <DEL.>.
Select the "Search" dialog box or press the "hot
key" F8 to start the search process.

"Title contains" This option enables you to provide search by string of characters in the title.
Search results do not depend on the order of the words you have
entered - you may type in "business relations" or "relations
business".
Note:
If you type in "commer", all titles with "c
ommercial", and "commerce" are searched
but "non
commercial" fails.
If you wish to find all documents with "commer" letters inside, type in "*commer". Upper/lower cases distinctions are ignored.
"Text contains.."
This option enables you to perform a search if you know a sequence of characters "string" contained in the text of the document. Type in the sequence of characters in the dialog box. You should use exactly the same string: order of the words is critical. Wildcards are not allowed. Upper and lower case differences are ignored.
For example: Document type: Intergovernmental agreements AND Item: Agriculture AND Date: from 01.01.91 to 01.01.95
Several selections within the same criteria are combined using the logical "OR" operation.
For example: Document type: Intergovernmental agreements OR RF Act AND Item: Agriculture OR Communications AND Date: from 01.01.91 to 01.01.95
The "Issued by" (Author) option allows you to search for the documents adopted by the specific authority.
This option enables you to search for a document by its official registration number. Type the document number into the dialog window and press <Enter>. Don't forget to type the characters exactly as they appear in your citation except the number (N ) sign. Use Russian language. Upper and lower case distinctions are ignored.
The "Document type" option enables you to search for a document by it type: Law, Presidential Decree etc.
This option enables you to search for documents that were adopted
during a given time period.
If you omit the "from" field - all documents
from 01.01.01 are searched.
If you omit the "to" field - all documents up
to today's date are searched.
This opiton (published in...) allows you to search documents that were published in the printed sources that you have selected. You may choose the name of the publication from the list displayed on the screen.
"Actuality" and "Is active"
options are primarily used by the DataBase Administrator to perform
technological functions. "
Actuality" search option enables you to select actuality
documents of active DataBase. "
Is active.." search option enables you to select "active"
documents of DataBase.
Developers recommend to ignore these options if you are not the
DataBase Administrator.
This option enables you to search for a document by topic. Select
topics from list of "
item" window, mark them by <Insert> key and
press <Enter>.
Warning - use carefully.
While in list of topics use: one level down <F8> one level up <Shift-F8>
This options enable you to perform the search if you know dates
of revisions made in documents or dates (periods of dates) searched
documents are in force or void.
If you omit the "from" field - all documents
from 01.01.01 are searched.
If you omit the "to" field - all documents up
to today's date are searched.
To focus the search while in the list <F2>
