CLI brings children, mostly orphans, from Russia to the U.S. for short-term stays with families and needed medical care. (In 1998 three received open-heart surgery in the U.S.) Some of the children have been musically gifted individuals who perform in the U.S. and take home donations to further their musical careers. CLI also received a million-dollar catheterization lab from Genesis Health in Davenport, Iowa, which was donated to the Acturin group in Moscow.
