The European Association for Research on Transformation (EART e.V.) is a small non-profit network designed to support independent research on transformation in Russia. In particular we support two emerging small research units, one in Moscow called "Permanent Workshop" (directed by Ksenia Gonchar) and one in Saint Petersburg called Institute for Independent Social Studies (directed by Viktor Voronkov), a third germ is likely to develop in Itkursk.
