Confederation College of Applied Arts and Technology
A consortium of Canadian institutions is working to support growth of small businesses in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine through an entrepreneurial training program and a small-business loan fund. (See program description under Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine section.) The consortium of Canadian institutions is led by Confederation College. Other consortium members include the School of Urban and Regional Planning of the University of Waterloo, the Centre for Second Language Instruction of the University of Saskatchewan, and the Parkland Community Futures Corporation of Manitoba. The city and oblast govern-ments of Ivano-Frankivsk and a local financial institution are the principal Ukranian partners.
