Working with the Russian Credit Union League in Moscow, this project aims to establish a network of credit unions in the province of Volgograd, based on the Canadian credit union model. Components of the project include support for the development of a legal and regulatory framework, technical assistance for the Russian Credit Union League, and establishment of a cooperative banking system.
