The monthly bulletin of analytical reviews and information "Russia and Moslem World" is published in Russian and English by the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INION RAN) since 1992. Materials published in the bulletin are prepared together with the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Central Asia Development (ICAD). ICAD is a partner of INION RAN in distributing the bulletin, in preparing author's and analytical materials for publication, and is also preparing the section " News from Near Foreign Countries" in the Russian edition of the bulletin. The bulletin covers spiritual, social and economic, ecological and political processes in the traditionally Moslem regions of Russia, Central Asia, the Caucasus and also in the "far foreign countries". The main topic is Russia and Islam, Russia and the Moslem World.The bulletin is publishing the most interesting articles from the Russian press and scientific publications, materials from the "near and far" foreign Moslem countries, articles written by leading orientalists especially for the bulletin. In this edition you can find diverse publications, starting from serious academic research and ending with reference and information reviews.
The English edition may not contain some of the publications present in the Russian edition.
The annual subscription fee for 12 issues (postal expenses included) is:
Russian edition - 120 USD
English edition - 120 USDThe payment is available in roubles according to the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia at the day of payment.
Subscription is continuing through 2000. All the 12 issues will be delivered to you notwithstanding the date of subscription.
