Dr Mile Jovic, Professor of International Marketing

Journal of Transition Management (established 1996) attempts to be a truly international forum bringing researchers, academics and governmental or public sector circles together, as well as practioners who are involved or interested in the overall transformation track of the contemporary world from an effective management standpoint. JTM focuses not only on on-going transformation and transition issues facing the former socialist countries (CITs), but also on the challenges of unprecedented shiftings in geopolitics, international marketing and business, industry/services and technology in a broader context.

The mission of JTM is to highlight relevant issues that will have a substantial impact on decision-makers on both the business and national level. Profiled as an "international forum" of the people, JTM seeks to be a medium for the dissemination of advanced ideas and approaches on the one hand, and a vehicle for broadening horizons and realizing emerging paradigms on the other. JTM's editorial policy is open to contributions that cover:

Geopolitics
(economic relationships on the intraregional, interregional and national level, and the process of transition, restructuring, transformation etc)

International Marketing and Business
(impact of institutional changes on the international or national level, in order to facilitate international trade of goods and services, marketing and business practice and modes of international involvement, factors and agents of internationalization and globalization etc.)

Industry/Services and Technology
(major trends in transformation and/or interaction within different industries / service sectors, current and prospective trends in technology dissemination, technology impact on business, marketing and management practice).
