Information for and about NGOs in Latvia

Currently published in three languages (under the name 'NGO News' in Latvian and Russian). Each issue contains information on organizations, services, international programs, calls for projects, funding, information sources, and partnership opportunities. (Issue shown, March 1997. 16 pages in English.)

"The NGO Report" invites cooperation from all those who take advantage of the resources at the center such as NGOs, state institutions, international agencies, funds and as always all those who wish to use the potential to turn their attention towards a wide audience of activists. In the bulletin, you can place without charge, informational and analytical articles or even more conveniently this can be done thorugh e-mail or on disk formatted for Microsoft Word or Claris.

NGO Centre - Riga offers its users informational, consultative and technical assistance. The Centre welcomes everyone who wishes to share information about their nongovernmental organization, wants to be entered into an NGO Centre database, wants to find organizations working in the same or related sphere, seeking assistance in the drafting or funding of projects, looking for volunteer or work in a nongovernmental organization, or wish to facilitate the development of the 'third sector' in Latvia.
