Free training materials from IREX

The International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) announces FREE TRAINING MATERIALS IN RUSSIAN AND UKRAINIAN in the areas of agriculture & agribusiness; business development & economic restructuring; development of civil society & NGOs; and healthcare reform.

Under the framework of the USAID-funded IREX Institutional Partnerships Project (IPP) a large number of training materials were produced by 22 participating Russian, Ukrainian, and American partnerships. Over 300 of these materials were distributed to 124 repositories (NGO resource centers, business support centers, university libraries, etc.) in 70 Russian and Ukrainian cities where they are made available to the public free of charge.

The training materials take a number of forms and cover a broad range of topics from economics curricula for college students, to methodological materials on disability issues, to environmental monitoring tools, to practical materials on reforming healthcare management, to studies comparing agricultural practices in the USA, Germany, and Russia.

Organizations with Internet access can download materials and obtain detailed information about the IPP materials and repositories at the new IREX WWW dissemination database located at: www.irex.org/ippdatabase.
