Prosvita Publishing Union

Prosvita organized the Second Annual Forum of Ukrainian Book Publishers, held at the Lviv National Museum in mid-September 1995. The four-day event hosted over 120 Ukrainian state and privately owned publishing houses and 60 book distributers from countries around the world, including Slovakia, Germany, Poland, and the U.S. The event opened with an intensive seminar program which discussed the problems of publishing, distributing, and selling books and other printed products in Ukraine and abroad.

The event also included an awards ceremony, which recognized the most innovative publishers present at the forum.
