Freedom Of Speech Center

The center was organized and registered in 1996 with the aims of analyzing the Ukrainian mass media market, supporting journalists and talented youth, and producing works of culture. The center publishes books by young Ukrainian writers, organizes meetings for journalists with government officials, and maintains a database on the Ukrainian mass media. It has published a book about the mass media, The Fourth Power in Ukraine.

The center has representatives in all the regions of Ukraine. Its major offices are in Kyiv, Lviv, Chernivtsy, and Donetsk. It seeks partners abroad, especially in Central and Eastern Europe and the U.S.
