The foundation works to protect the Sea of Azov and its environs, as well as to draw public attention to factors that threaten the sea's ecosystem and educate the populace about environmental protection issues. Foundation members compiled a report on the current state of the sea and its shores for use in public education. Additionally, the group has published ecological education materials that focus on the Sea of Azov for use in local elementary schools.
