Khujand EcoEducation Center

The center was established in October 1997 by local scientists and other intellectuals to "educate the younger generation about ecological self-awareness." It has published a series of brochures on ecology for local university students. The center has also developed an environmental education curriculum for children afflicted with schizophrenia in a grammar school in Chalovsk.
