TEIA promotes international non-governmental cooperation by assisting in the distribution of information across border areas in the Baltic states, Finland, and northwest Russia. It publishes a biweekly electronic bulletin, Transboundary and Environmental News, on economic, environmental, and social issues impacting the region. The bulletin is available in English and Russian. The group is currently working on a project to increase Internet access for NGOs in northwestern Russia.
