Southern Russia Resource Center
Founded in 1995 and supported by USAID through the Civic Initiative Program, the resource center's goal is to "develop, strengthen and catalyze" non-governmental organizations in Southern Russia. It also held an NGO Fair in April 1998 with the active participation of local officials and NGOs. Three interregional conferences were also convened in 199798: Conference of Southern Russia, Collaboration of NGOs with Government and Within the Sector, and Business and NGOs: From Dialog to Partnership.SRRC program coordinators work in eight cities: Rostov, Novocherkassk, Taganrog, Sochi, Novorossiisk, Armavir, Kislovodsk and Piatigorsk.
