Ryazan Initiative Group for the Implementation of the Helsinki Accords

This organization was formed in 1992 by a group of deputies from the Ryazan city council. It seeks to educate the local populace on civil rights and international human rights standards and laws. To this end, the group developed an educational program on human rights for local high schools during the 1996�97 school year.
