The fund has worked in the Kolpinski region of St. Petersburg since August 1990. It organizes seminars for teachers of gifted children; awards scholarships and stipends; supports children’s art groups; and assists sick and disabled children by giving parties, collecting funds for medical treatment, and running a service to locate urgently needed medicines. The fund also has a counseling service for adolescents with problems in family relationships or in school. Support is provided to foster parents who take in children.
