This center works to end discrimination against women in the workplace and in society. It organizes seminars on feminist topics and has established partnerships with several women's organizations abroad, such as the Association of Women's Crisis Centers in Sweden, since its formation in 1995. The center operates a women's crisis hotline and publishes a monthly newsletter that reports on public policy and legislation in Russia that impacts women, as well as news from the local women's movement.
