Larissa, Aleksandr and Anastasia Levashov are the founders and leaders of the International Peace Origami Tree Project of Novorossiysk, Russia.
The Origami Center of Novorossiysk is a non-profit group and works in partnership with the Center for NGO Support of Russia (non-governmental organizations), which was created on the basis of the Moscow field office of the American non-governmental organization "World Learning".
The Origami Center of Novorossiysk is a member of Origami USA and the British Origami Society.
The main goal of the Peace Origami Tree Project is participating in promoting World Peace by means of the art of Origami and engaging people of all countries to be on friendly terms with each other.
They hope people all over the World will take part in the Peace Origami Tree Project and would appreciate people sending Origami models to the Origami Center of Novorossiysk, Russia.
Information about the 2002 year exhibition will be announced on the Project Web site in December 2001 - January 2002 and there will be an announcement in the Origami magazines in Russia, Japan, Great Britain and the United States.
