Founded in 1994, the center strives to strengthen peace and security by establishing communication between peoples of the world in the spheres of education, science, and culture. It supports UNESCO programs in world culture, women's issues, ethnic arts and crafts development, and youth movements. The center organized a regional conference, Theory and Practice of Sustainable Development, and a seminar, Women, Spiritual Values, the World, and the 21st Century.
