New Perspectives Foundation

The primary focus of New Perspectives is civic education of youth and development of young leaders to popularize ideas of democracy in Russia. The foundation is currently active in 50 of Russia's regions, ranging from Vladivostok to the Udmurt Republic. It implements civic education programs and leadership training courses, and encourages civic and political participation of youth at the local level.

The foundation developed a year-long civic education program that is being used in several schools in Moscow and regional cities. The program emphasizes the importance of civic participation and features role-playing games and mock parliamentary elections. The program also includes a workshop session for teachers and parents on the principles of civic education.
