KonfOP unites 48 regional and 8 national consumer organizations in NIS countries. The main objective of KonfOp is to protect consumer interests by providing them legal assistance through the services of independent lawyers, economists and journalists. KonfOP publishes a special consumer magazine, Spros (about 100, 000 copies per month), in which it informs consumers about the quality of products and services offered on the market. Ratings of various products ranging from food stuffs to home appliances are published in every issue.KonfOP's Web site offers information on consumer rights and a large number of topical articles ranging from test results for certain products to ratings and consumer advice.
