Aesop Center

A major project of Aesop has been to establish and operate SPIDNET, the first HIV/AIDS information network in Russia. This includes an e-mail network, database, library, and periodical bulletin focused on HIV/AIDS issues. Its primary goal is to reach civic groups and individuals, especially those outside of Moscow, with up-to-date information HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.

It has also developed the Russian Sexual Health Coalition to promote education and information on STDs as well as a variety of other reproductive health issues.
