This charitable foundation was originally created by several women deputies from the Saratov Duma in 1992. Its mission is to unite organizations from the business, government, and nonprofit sectors to work together on issues affecting children and families in Russia.The foundation's accomplishments include providing direct assistance to 200 needy families in the Saratov area, publishing two reports on the third sector in Saratov for use by the local duma, and participating in a conference on philanthropy and private charitable giving in Russia, held in Moscow in June 1998.
