Kola Coordinative Environmental Centre, "GAIA", is an environmental non-governmental organization which was organized in 1992 in the Murmansk region. GAIA has two official departments in its structure. The first is the Central Department and is located in Murmansk. The second department is called "Apatity" and is located in one of the region's largest cities.

GAIA's main goal is the education of the area's population. GAIA works with schools and companies to organize projects designed to raise awareness of environmental issues.

GAIA's membership is made of primarily of schoolchildren from ages 14 and up.
