This foundation helps prisoners obtain work skills and education to facilitate their return to society after release from prison. The Chance program offers prisoners training in professional farming through the cultivation of small garden plots and agricultural classes. The produce grown is also used as a valuable supplement to standard prison meals. The foundation also encourages prisoners to finish high school through a technical education program, Bachelors, which has been implemented by volunteer instructors of the North-West Correspondence Polytechnical Institute in two prisons over the past three years. Crosses also offers basic computer courses to inmates as well as events such as holiday celebrations and art exhibits.
