Sergei Stepanov is the director of a program that teaches youth in Tver about motion-picture production. He also heads a youth mime-comedy group that produces silent films which have appeared in international film festivals in Italy, Spain, and Germany. In 1994, they won the "Super-Prize"on a popular Russian television program called "Sam sebe rezhisser" (Home videos).The school is currently interested in competing in film and/or student theater festivals in the United States. The school is a member of the "Tver-Buffalo, NY Sister Cities" organization.
