Responding to the dire need for a professional, market-oriented class of private and public sector leaders in Russia today, this foundation provides professional training to managers in the energy, transportation and manufacturing industries, as well as representatives of privatized companies, state sector companies and small-scale businesses. Its mission is the following:
- To develop effective training programs for people working in management and finance
- To provide financial support for broad-scale education and training programs
- To assist in the development of new cadres for economic reform.
The foundation organized a conference, Strategy for Employee Development, and supports the weekly publication Biznes Plus Kariera. It was instrumental in the creation of the Delovaya Kniga (Business Book) club and an association for professors of economics and business in Nizhny Novgorod.
